Anna Tsuchiya (?? ???, Tsuchiya Anna?, born March 11, 1984 in Tokyo, Japan) is a singer, lyricist, model, and actress.[1] Anna was born to a Japanese mother and a Russian American father. She has an older sister called Angela, who is a model as well.
Tsuchiya was scouted by Seventeen magazine at age 14 to start a modelling career. Her demand as a model grew, and by 2002 she was doing television ads for UNIQLO, Edwin, and KOSE products. Even though she got involved in other projects afterwards, she today still remains an in-demand model for magazines like Kera, Soup, Zipper, and other youth punk fashion magazines.
Tsuchiya made her acting debut in Novala Takemoto’s adapted runaway hit Kamikaze Girls (????, Shimotsuma Monogatari?) in 2004 as punk yanki “Ichigo Shirayuri”. Her role brought her both immediate attention and critical success; winning several awards in Japan. This was continued to act/voice in various movies and dramas as The Taste of Tea, Dororo, Sakuran and provided the voice of Lindsay Lohan’s character “Maggie Peyton” in the Japanese dub of Herbie: Fully Loaded.[2] Her latest film is Paco and the Magical Picture Book
In 2004, she announced her engagement to fellow model/actor Joshua Niimura[8][9], the younger brother of the model Friedia Niimura (Rin Kozue). Joshua worked in the same modelling office as her. On 2004.11.19 Anna’s first child, Sky (??, sukai?), was born. Sky even features in a photobook with his mother, Happy Days - Anna, Mama ni Naru!.[10] But in early July 2006, it was announced that Tsuchiya and Joshua were getting divorced.[11]. Subsequent to their divorce, Joshua Niimura died of heart failure on May 20th 2008[12]. Anna has remained undaunted by being a divorced single mother, to the adoration of her legions of mostly high school girl fans, who’ve taken a liking to her non-conformist approach to life.

If we want to look at today’s young generations, a wise approach is that suggested by John Paul II in Novo Millennium Ineunte: “to go into the deep” and not fear being caught off guard in dealing with young people. In fact despite the many studies on modern youth, their situations are rapidly changing, and as soon we have gathered some sure data about them, new findings appear. Since there’s such a variety of situations in the world, it is absolutely impossible to introduce a general picture of young people.
Let’s look closely at some common situations of the youth today. One widespread phenomenon is “the eclipse of strong models of reference,” giving rise to a society that contains many truths, but which, in the end, doesn’t possess any at all. Moral and religious norms depend ever more on the individual. This excess of proposals leads to the impossibility of appraising and choosing among them. It almost leads to some sort of empty space, and in a way, it’s like swimming in a sea of innumerable and mutable choices. It produces a situation of “uneasiness” that even adults feel, but obviously this is felt more by the younger generations. For many, this results in an inability to make some choices, and take on responsibilities, like answering the call of God, both in marriage and in virginity.
In some areas, the drive for efficiency in the workplace with the absence of a conscious faith and the lack of moral choices is quite strong. Young people just adopt different ethical behaviors according to the context where they live. There is also a certain consumerism leading to negative and traumatic experiences.
Apart from the “shadows” and “lights” that influence the new generations, many studies however have confirmed that young people still care about values like solidarity, spontaneity and fraternity. Just think of all their actions in favor of solidarity.
In 15 years of working with youth from different parts of the world, I have noticed in them a great openness and simplicity, and less ambiguity; therefore, they can relate to people simply and more directly. Open to new discoveries, they are also in search of religion. They accept values without bias, when these are presented well; they are sensitive to world issues. Open to cultures different from theirs, they can accept actions different from theirs. Perhaps more than the preceding generations, they communicate more. They are more honest in admitting their limits and more willing to start again. If they find someone whom they can trust, they don’t hide their doubts, failures and difficulties, and they are happy to receive help. Great in young people, in fact, is the sensitivity to relationships. They have a true feeeling for friendship, a sincere opening to dialogue with adults as well, and a new consideration of the role and the dignity of the other sex.
All these characteristics we can observe in that “loving glance” which brings us to look at the new generations as at people made for unity—as the future of humanity which will live to see unity realized.
Another phenomenon widespread in so many countries is the strong attraction of youth to live in a virtual world, in which many take refuge to escape reality.
Here, we need to be humble and make a paradigm shift so as to understand their situation and be able to relate to them. With this attitude, we can then accompany the new generations. A good educational tool is to make ourselves one with them in order to understand them. But we should always keep our goal in mind without imposing it on them—accompanying them and stepping in when needed, yet leaving them free. Our goal should always be to arrive at, and to build, unity. Therefore, we should not so much aim to give them our own goals, or to give them our solutions, but to build authentic relationships. It is helping them to explore all the means of communication so that “all may be one.”
They may, for instance, try to run away elsewhere. It is important for them to feel that they can count on us and on the others in our community. They must always feel that we are there for them. Our “availability” and our concrete, constant love are the best antidote to an escapist attitude from reality, just like fleeing to a virtual world.
The need of a relationship between young people and adults is much needed and must be expressed more through concrete experiences and lifestyles.
Another situation which studies and researches have pointed out in different geographical areas is a new way that youth have of conceiving of “time:” the extension of life, the hope to live on for a long time for young people—made possible by new medicines and better care of the body. Yet another is the difficulty to stick to one’s daily schedule, and to observe responsibilities. They have a certain playful approach to life—always having fun—the search for fun, of environments with high affective and emotional content, of new feelings that provide the illusion of human existence while rejecting effort, pain, and difficulties.
Obviously through living the Word of God, people can reconcile utopia and reality. Every action then acquires value: from work to studies, cooking or having a good time, resting or facing difficulties and doubts together.
We can help young people rediscover and give value to the past, plan for the future, and operate effectively in the present. This can be achieved through relationships. True relationship makes what’s here and now tangible, a relationship of equality yet of distinction, because there are different roles the older generation assumes, like that of accompanying youth, but also leaving them free. These two elements must always be present: to accompany the young and yet, to leave them free. Then we should always be supportive of them. This is how to integrate real goals with realities. We shouldn’t give too many instructions or answers. Rather, responsibility and reciprocity must be encouraged. Then we become gifts for each other; and in the process we receive from others and are also enriched by their experiences.
This relationship with the youth will make us understand the darkness that they are going through and help us make ourselves one with their sufferings. One good way to help is learning how to wait for Jesus in them to move them to take a definite step in life. Patience is a great educational virtue. Furthermore, we need patience with the awareness of the goal we’re aiming for. Our goal and the virtue of patience should not conflict. They should be well-coordinated elements. The importance of a relationship lies in one’s ability to offer a coherent “testimony” —because we give more with our being than with words. We will then be able to accompany the youth without imposing on them—offering an existential model of life to new generations, enabling them to heal wounds, and pointing out the way to wholeness for the human person.
Through such attitudes, it will be Jesus, present in our midst and in the new generations, who will help us face every new frontier, typical of any country, and who will work in us, notwithstanding our limits. It will be Jesus who can actually answer the questions of every young man and woman, and therefore, also of any nation.

Many of the headlines regarding the Church of England since 2002 have regarded the rights of homosexual priests. The Church of England allows for the ordination of gay priests as long as they are celibate.
Alongside issues of homosexual clergy, the wider Anglican Communion has been wrestling with whether to sanction same-sex blessings.
These issues have caused divisions within the Anglican Communion, with the provinces of the global south (Nigeria, South East Asia, South America among many others) threatening to split permanently from those sanctioning the blessing of same-sex relationships and the ordination of non-celibate gay clergy.

We, as Catholics, recognize the Homosexual Act as a sin, NOT the person who is Homosexual. Because gay people for us catholics are good people and they are people just like we are people created in His image and likeness. The act is just not right, because, God created man and woman to procreate and have kids and build a family. I don’t think he made a world of two guys or girls doing it. It’s just not right. But I love gay people! Really… They ARE people like us. Please, I just hope they don’t engage in man-woman activities. It’s just not right.

It’s not an excuse to make Palawan, a peaceful state become part of ARMM. In the first place, ARMM is Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao. Aber, asan ang Palawan? Luzon! MINDANAO BA ANG PALAWAN? Hay nako Gloria, tahimik na siyudad, guguluhin mo pa dahil lang sa OIL. Gahaman…
